Courses

Refund Policy:

You will need to check the date and content of your chosen course carefully before booking as we are unable to offer refunds if you cancel or modify your booking in anyway. If you need to change the date of your course you must give us at least 2 weeks notice. A transfer/administration fee of £15 will be charged. If you do not give us 2 weeks notice we will not be able to transfer you or offer you a refund.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a course for reasons out your control (such as bad weather) we will consider to transfer your booking to an alternative date or topic, if the reason means the company incurrs costs and charges these will be needed to be paid when transferring the course.


We are not liable for reimbursing any expenses or cost resulting from us cancelling a course.

 

We recommend that you look for an insurance policy that covers against emergency cancellations. They can be purchased at http://www.cancelsureinsurance.co.uk (not supplied by The Unique Cake Company)

 

Further Information:

- We will not be liable for any injury or accidents that occur during your course. You attend our courses at your own risk

- You are welcome to use images of work you have completed on your course but must credit The Unique Cake Company.

- Full payment for courses is required at time of booking to secure a place.

- Please notify us of any allergies and we will do our best to ensure you requirements are met.

- In the event of postponement or cancellation, further payments over 50% deposit can be transferred to Gift Voucher only


Equipment and Edibles

Refund Policy:

- Edible products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

- If a non-edible product is unopened and in its original packaging it may only be exchanged within 30 days of sale when accompanied with a receipt.

Online orders

- Edibles cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged

- Non-edible products can only be exchanged if returned within 7 days of receipt in the original packaging with the receipt or invoice

- Damaged products need to request return, this needs to be with photographic evidence to the company. Once this agreed a return will be agreed. Once received by the company and checked and validated a refund or exchange will be processed.

Returns to the shop msut be accompanied with the invoice received and must be within 7 days of the order.

Cakes

Refund Policy:

We do not offer refunds once the deposit is paid under any circumstances

Once you sign for your cake on collection you are fully responsible for it. Please note we photograph all cakes for these purposes

Please notify us as soon as possible of any allergies and we will do our best to ensure you requirements are met.


Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers cannot be refund or exchanged for cash

Gift Vouchers have an expiry date on them and once this has passed it them becomes invalid. Under no circumstance can it be extended.

To use gift vouchers towards the value of a course, you MUST go to the shop or contact the shop to book your course. The shop will need your voucher number to validate it, this must be taken to the shop at the start of your course or you will need to pay for the course.

Failure to comply with the above will invalidate your voucher.


Further information:

We require a 50% deposit for all cakes upon ordering. The balance is due upon collection or 48 hours before delivery

Delivery costs may be applicable 

When a cake is collected from us we are by no means responsible for it and its transportation.

Unfortunately we do not decorate a cake which which has not been made by us.
